Pocket Almanac app

The native app's games use puzzles bundled with the app and do not make server requests. The native app does not send Keenan Flack personal information, identifiers, analytics, or gameplay activity. Puzzle progress, results, streaks, and preferences are stored locally on your device.

If you enable a daily reminder, iOS stores and delivers that notification on your device. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings and erase the app's local information with Reset all local data inside the app or by deleting the app.

Links you choose to open, including the privacy policy, support page, Pocket Almanac website, and Worthwhile source pages, open in your system browser. The app does not receive your browsing activity.

Pocket Almanac website

The website is separate from the native app. When enabled on the production website, Google Analytics measures visits and a limited set of gameplay actions. Those events do not include puzzle text, years, pair selections, or clipboard contents. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.

Meanwhile uses a random first-party cookie to keep an anonymous daily streak for that browser. Ballpark stores its current game, practice history, and streak locally in your browser. Stateside stores dated completion marks locally in your browser so completed maps can restore their results. Clearing site data resets that information. The website does not use the native app's streak, and neither version requires an account.
